VOTING:
The meeting opened at 9.20pm with the Vote for Chairman first on the
Agenda. The main contender for this position was Dave due to his
absence. He was duly voted-in with six balls, pipping Johnny's five
balls.
The Secretary and Treasurer remained as Pad and Al respectively.
DATES:
The WAC proved useful though one or two members hadn't completed
theirs due to PC problems. They had to thumb through papery book-like
'diaries' to try and check their availablity. The clearest weekends
were....
11/12 March, 11/12 June, 2/3 Sept & 25/26 Nov.
ACTIVITIES:
Canoeing Thames (5.5 votes), Cycling Holland (8), Sailing Broads (4),
Scotland (8), Sand Yachts (7), Caving (4), Horse Riding (3), Italy Via
Ferrating (4), Environmental (5).
Therefore, the following activities won the vote and were put in
logical times of the year as follows:
1) Canoeing Thames (PR to organise) 11/12 March
2) Scotland (IN) 10/11 June *
3) Cycling Holland (NL) 2/3 Sept
4) Sand Yachts 25/26 Nov
* Since the AGM, Ian has established that Tony is down South on this
weekend, therefore the date may change to the following weekend (which
also appeared to be clear in Member's WAC's).
SKYPE:
Currently, John, Pad, Ian, Keith and Tommy (Ian Thomson) are available
on Skype. If anyone else is, let us know and we'll add your Skype name
to the directory.
The next meeting is the ANNUAL
DARTS CHAMPIONSHIP on 5th February.
Venue - The 9
Stiles Uxbridge. Don't
bring your arrows.... they're too big. Darts are best.
Can the 2005 champ please bring the trophy to the Nine Stiles for the
presentation to the 2006 Champion.
Note for far-flung ex members.... you don't have to attend the
Darts Match, but your absence will be noted and fines could be
enforced!
