Chairman’s Annual Review
Paddy gave an excellent presentation
of the FMCC’s activities over 2007.
This was in the form of a pictorial presentation prepared on his
laptop. Photographs of the
Hebden
Bridge
hill walking, the
Boulogne
sand yachting/cycling, the Polzeath surfing/walking, the Norfolk Broads
sailing and the Wycombe golfing brought back memories of a good year.
Thanks were expressed to the organisers of the various events.
It was agreed that 2007 events had
maintained the usual high standards expected of the Club

Treasurer’s Financial Review
Alan provided the Club accounts for
2007. This showed for the
first time a negative cash flow for the year.
Subscriptions, various kitty residues and interest on capital
provided the only income totalling £403.82.
The outgoings (£455.20) comprised the activity subsidy of £400
,sand yachting deposit and transfer fee of
£55.20. Our 2006
balance of £70.62 has reduced to £32.71.
Despite this downturn in fortunes it was a greed that the
treasurer had once more a very good job in the face of the general
downturn in the financial markets.

Election of new Executive
Election of the executive was carried out in time-honoured
fashion using the ball bearing ballot box.

Subscription
In view the depletion of the coffers
this year a decision was made to increase the annual subscription
amount. After discussion it was decided that the subs for 2008 would be
£75.00

NYE
Party 2007
The Italian meal / games evening was
very enjoyable. The total
cost for the evening was £80.40 making it £13.40 per couple a
reduction on the previous years outlay that totalled £19.11 per head.
A bargain for such a wonderful repast and excellent
entertainment.
